I’m Jay Goldz, a commercial portrait and advertising photographer based in Indianapolis.

Before shooting full-time in 2014, I worked as a graphic designer—which still shapes how I light and frame every frame. I don't just look at a subject; I look at the final crop, the negative space, and where the story lives.

I shoot on Nikon and Fujifilm medium format systems and regularly digi-tech on commercial sets. That technical background means I'm just as comfortable running a lean, three-person crew as I am navigating large-scale productions with 100+ cast and crew.

Off set, I’m a husband and dad. My downtime usually revolves around good food, cooking from scratch, and being out on the water fishing.
